Loyalty Days Parade & Blessing of the Fleet

Every year on the first weekend in May, our community gathers to celebrate our freedom and honor those who have served our country.

I have to admit, this is a pretty big deal here and everyone, and I do mean just about everyone, comes to the parade. We enjoy watching all the local children in the parade, the various bands that support this event, our mayor, local law enforcement, the fire department, clowns, animals, cheerleaders....you name it we've got it!

Bring your rain gear and warm clothing because it's not unusual to experience a good rain. But never fear! Rain or shine the parade MUST go on!
