I Survived the Blastoff at the Beach + 25th Annual SandSations Event

Join us for Ocean Park's Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade followed by an evening of spectacular display by locals, tourists and the city of Long Beach.

Quite honestly, if you've never been to the Long Beach Peninsula on the 4th of July then you may not completely understand why I'm saying I survived.

I'm always amazed at how many people flock to the beach to watch the big event. There are 1000's of people on the beach celebrating and it's like nothing you've ever seen.

You'll have to experience it to know what I'm talking about. It'll be an adventure of a lifetime!

Plus, you'll want to catch the spectacular array of fireworks displayed down in Long Beach and Ilwaco. We put on one of the best shows around!

Another great attraction is an event called SandSations. Join us for the 25th Annual SandSations event in Long Beach on July 17th - 18th. You'll be amazed at the talent displayed!

Celebrate the Festivities on the Coast

While the weather may be a bit on the chilly side during the month of December, many tourists seek their refuge on the coast of Washington simply due to the sheer excitement of the winter storms.

Storm watchers agree the beach is a thrilling place to be while awaiting a big storm!

All weather observations aside, be sure to check out the infamous Lighted Boat and Crab Pot Christmas tree in Ilwaco on Saturday, December 5th, 2009. The fisherman in our community certainly know how to celebrate and have teamed up to create a tradition like no other. The third annual lighting of the WORLD'S LARGEST CRAB POT CHRISTMAS TREE will take place at the west end of the Port of Ilwaco at 5:15 pm. Everyone is welcome. There will be caroling and refreshments.

Join us New Years Eve for a spectacular display of Firework at Midnight over the Pacific Ocean!

Bring the whole family or your sweetie as you ring in the New Year!
